Cheryl Mason is both a full time resident of Crisp County, and an award winning Real Estate Agent/Broker working exclusively on Lake Blackshear for almost 30 years now. She has been featured in The Georgia Trend Magazine as a Lake Blackshear Expert.
Known for her passion to serve with excellence, she served as an RN for 18 years before pursuing her lifelong passion of real estate. Though the years, Cheryl’s Father, Travis Apperson, was both a residential and a commercial contractor; so real estate has always been close to her.
Cheryl has served on many local boards including The Lake Blackshear Homeowners Association as Secretary/Treasurer, the Crisp Area Board of Realtors as President, the Watershed Association, and the Flint River Riverkeepers.
Her family has been abundantly blessed to have calledthe Beautiful Waters of Lake Blackshear “Our Fulltime Home” for over 35 years now. In their earlier years, as her children were growing up, they had a second home and they eagerly anticipated the weekends on the lake! Later they built a permanent home on the shores of Lake Blackshear.
